The Athletic Department and Baseball Staff are committed to raising the bar
for K-State baseball. We want to be a contender in the Big 12 conference
and on the national level.
Each year we have unexpected needs that arise
that fall outside our budget parameters. We need outside financial
assistance to meet these needs. Facility upgrades are also needed in the
near future and funds remaining in the Diamond Cat account each year can
accumulate to assist in meeting these needs.
The past two years these items included; indoor pitching mounds, additional supplements for our players, new video equipment (TV, VCR, and camcorder) and upgraded recruiting software for the coaching staff.
At the conclusion of last season, the coaching staff met and discussed some ideas that would continue to best benefit our program. After discussing a few ideas, the consensus of the coaching staff was to upgrade our video system. The Sportstec System is a state of the art coaching tool that will signifanctly enhance and expand video teaching oppurtunites. Please click here to read Coach Hill explain more about this need.
The money from DiamondCats goes into a separate account setup specifically for donations to
the Diamond Cats Club. The money can only be used by the baseball program
and must have approval from the Head Baseball Coach and Athletic Director.
Donations to DiamondCats are tax deductible, and all gifts will be awarded priority points in the K-State Ahearn Fund priority points system.
Anyone can donate to DiamondCats, whether you are a former player or not.
All that is required is a desire to see the 'Cats become a dominant force in NCAA Baseball.
Your donation to DiamondCats can help us get there.
